Summary

The Project Coordinator for Water Tanks ensures efficient management of customer orders by coordinating scheduling, documentation, communication, and delivery tracking. You act as the central contact for customers and internal teams, resolving issues quickly and maintaining accurate order information. Your work directly supports operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and effective business forecasting.


 

Responsibilities

 

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the key point of contact for customers, Sales Managers, and external Sales Representatives.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries regarding order status or concerns.
  • Apply creative problem‑solving skills to provide effective customer solutions.
  • Support seamless order execution from start to finish.

 

Communication & Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Lead communication across internal and external teams on production updates and delivery timelines.
  • Align with Sales Managers and Inside Sales to coordinate production slotting and delivery optimization.
  • Work cross‑functionally with purchasing, design support, and parts on order requirements.

 

Order Entry & Documentation

  • Validate incoming orders for completeness and accuracy.
  • Distribute required documents to relevant internal teams and customers.
  • Ensure precise order entry to maintain production and delivery accuracy.

 

Reporting, Data Management & Ad‑Hoc Support

  • Provide timely reporting and non‑routine data to leaders across the business.
  • Manage backlog and support regional forecasting.
  • Keep meticulous records for auditability and reporting.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post‑secondary education preferred.
  • 3 years of relevant experience (5 years preferred).
  • Manufacturing exposure and ability to review technical drawings is an asset.
  • Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer‑focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving capability, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable in remote or hybrid work settings; adaptable to organizational change.

Compensation: $68,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience.
