Location: Seguin, Texas

 

Role Details:

Full-time, permanent, 50 hours per week, 10 hours per shift

Hourly salary: $31 - $40

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

 

Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading hourly production employees to safely achieve daily production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. This role is essential to operational success by owning production output, safety performance, quality results, and labor utilization while driving employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production activities to meet targets for output, quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and support to production employees to drive engagement and accountability.
  • Promote and enforce safety and environmental compliance, including incident reporting and adherence to company requirements.
  • Monitor quality performance, address defects, and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage labor utilization, staffing priorities, and daily production planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, HSE, and HR to support operational goals.
  • Execute Leader Standard Work and maintain visual management and accountability systems.
  • Support administrative and operational controls to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary diploma preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong ability to interpret production schedules and key performance indicators.
  • Working knowledge of safety requirements and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees in a production environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Formal supervisory or leadership training.
