Warehouse Associate
Business Unit: Flexpipe
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as business needs require.
Summary
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform product put-away, replenishment, staging, loading, shipping, labeling, and cycle counting activities.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse systems and manual processes.
- Complete shipping documentation and verify shipment information accurately.
- Organize and maintain warehouse locations to maximize storage utilization and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve issues related to inventory movement, replenishment, staging, loading, and shipping.
- Support inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving and shipping activities.
- Manage changing priorities and respond effectively to multiple trucks, rush orders, and operational demands.
- Collaborate with receiving, production, field services, quality, and warehouse teams to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all health, safety, and operating procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required to support customer and business needs.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience.
- Comfortable using computers and warehouse-related systems.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with inventory counts, shipping paperwork, and numerical data.
- Ability to solve problems, think logically, and make sound decisions.
- Reliable, motivated, and adaptable with the ability to pivot as business needs change.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform material handling activities throughout the workday.
- Ability to operate a forklift for a significant portion of the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with changing priorities and occasional overtime.
