SUMMARY
Reporting to the Asset Reliability Manager, the Maintenance supervisor will establish short term and long-term direction for the department using input from the Asset Reliability Manager to help achieve the overall operational goals of the facility. The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for daily supervision and workload management for the maintenance team. This role is responsible for administering the CMMS work order system and communicating with business unit leaders relative to scheduling and work prioritization. The Maintenance Supervisor role will also provide support for coordinating custom equipment assembly and new equipment installation/commissioning activities.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead/Support the implementation of a Preventative Maintenance Program and CMMS system.
- Lead/Mentor maintenance team relative to daily workload prioritization and communication.
- Attend maintenance DMP and maintain dashboard data.
- Attend Site Wide DMP.
- Responsible for Managing work order system and prioritizing in CMMS.
- Scheduling and organizing PM/CM downtime with production.
- Revising and implementation of PM’s.
- Complete maintenance tasks related to production and facility equipment.
- Coordinate repair work with external resources.
- Liaison with external vendors relative to parts supply and repair.
- Provide mentorship to maintenance team and production operators relative to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Provide on-call support relative to maintenance issues as required.
- Promote and grow Mattr’s Safety culture, 5S, mission and values.
- Coordinating custom equipment assembly and new equipment installation/commissioning activities.
- Provide technical direction during equipment installation and commissioning.
- Liaison with the Plant Engineer and Equipment Design Engineers on continuous improvement/new equipment projects.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Mechanic background, training, and knowledge
- Strong communication
- Organizational skill
- Knowledgeable and able to navigate CMMS
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office suite
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 Years in manufacturing or industrial environnement in maintenance roles
EDUCATION
- High school diploma is preferred
