Summary
As Regional Sales Manager for the Western United States, you will be accountable for driving profitable growth of Mattr’s ShawFlex product lines across the region. Success in this role is defined by your ability to expand market presence, influence end-user specifications, and strengthen strategic channel partnerships. Through strong technical selling, deep understanding of customer requirements, and relationship-building, you will play a critical role in advancing Mattr’s long-term growth strategy across key industrial markets.
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Drive regional sales growth by proactively targeting end users, EPCs, contractors, and OEMs to generate product demand and secure specifications for Connectivity solutions.
  • Conduct customer visits and deliver technical presentations that clearly communicate value while strengthening long-term relationships through consistent engagement.
  • Develop and execute a regional distribution strategy, including training distributors, coordinating joint customer visits, and aligning account management efforts.
  • Manage assigned accounts and oversee a network of sales agents to support effective market penetration and territory growth.
  • Create and implement regional sales plans, roadmaps, and customer value files while maintaining visibility in key markets through industry involvement and networking.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotations aligned with market conditions and approved pricing structures.
  • Support marketing initiatives by gathering competitive intelligence, identifying new product opportunities, and maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Represent the organization at regional and local trade shows to strengthen brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Manage regional budgets, track expenses, and deliver on annual performance objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and uphold company ethics and regulatory requirements, including Bill 198.
 
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales or marketing within wire & cable, heat shrink tubing, or a similar technical industrial sector.
  • Proven expertise in technical selling, including pricing strategies and channel management.
  • Strong track record of managing distributors, sales agents, and complex customer relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and data analysis) and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Community College diploma required.
  • Experience working with technical specifications, quotation processes, and industrial market dynamics.
  • Self-driven, confident, and highly effective at presenting to both technical stakeholders and executive-level audiences.
  • Ability to travel frequently (over 50%) to support regional business needs.
  • Fluent in English; French language capability is also required per the position description.
