Quality Inspector

Position Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for quality on the production floor and working toward keeping all nonconforming products and processes in house.

Duties:

• Facilitate the close of internal NCRs.
• Audit the production process.
• Test materials and products and create COAs.
• Develop & document testing processes.
• Review and approve incoming raw material COA’s / COC’s.
• Support the corrective and preventive action process by conducting lap tests (Hot set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator / Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers) and other lab equipment as needed.
• Assist in calibration compliance & equipment verifications.
• Collect and compile quality data.
• Assist in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
• Determine the causes of product defects and reworks.
• Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• ​​​​​​​3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with AR, AP, Audits, Cash Flow, Closing preferred.
• Good communication (oral & written) skills.
