  •  Plan ahead for upcoming orders by staging materials or adjusting the schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Perform routine machine care such as cleaning, lubricating, or replacing basic parts (like blades or filters) to keep equipment in good working order.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues (clear jams, re-thread material) safely and promptly. If you encounter equipment malfunctions beyond basic fixes, stop the machine and notify a supervisor or maintenance technician.
  • Assist maintenance staff in identifying issues by describing problems clearly.
  • Always operate equipment with safety as the top priority.

  • Cross-train on multiple processes so you can fill in or rotate as needed.
  • Accurately record production data such as run times, quantities produced, and any downtime or scrap.
  • Use basic computer/data entry systems or production tracking software to log information.
  • Complete any required paperwork, like quality checklists or shift reports, thoroughly and correctly.
  • Take an active role in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Be open to learning new methods or technologies.
