Position Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Set up, start, and operate multiple end cap production machines as needed; monitor machine operations and record operating data.

Manufacture dual-wall end caps for wiring, tubing, and cabling, ensuring each unit meets required specifications and quality standards for a secure, pressure-tight seal.

Read and interpret work orders and production schedules to determine required materials, product dimensions, and necessary tolerances for each production run.

Ensure production and quality targets are met by performing machine adjustments or size changeovers as necessary, while minimizing material scrap.

Follow all established packaging procedures to ensure finished products are packaged and labeled correctly according to company standards.

Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines and operate equipment safely at all times to maintain an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) workplace.

Comply with all company “Leader Standard Work” guidelines and standard operating procedures during all production activities.

Assist in training and guiding new or junior team members on proper operating techniques and safety protocols, as required.

Perform other duties as assigned by management to support team objectives and maintain efficient operations.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of production machines and tools, including their proper use.
-
Familiarity with manufacturing materials, processes, and quality control standards.
-
Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.

Excellent attention to detail and visual acuity for inspecting materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
-
Good communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal communication.
-
Proven ability to work well as part of a team and actively participate in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.

Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing production needs and priorities.

Strong commitment to workplace safety, with the ability to follow all safety guidelines, protocols, and standard operating procedures consistently.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time during shifts.

Frequent repetitive motions using wrists, hands, and fingers.

Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Occasional ability to perform activities such as sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as required by the job.
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
-
1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
- Schedule: Full-time second shift position, Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.
- Compensation: Hourly pay rate of $20.28 per hour.
