The Resin Line Operator plays a critical role in producing high‑performance electrical cables used in mining, oil & gas, and industrial applications where long‑term reliability is essential. This role is responsible for accurately setting up and operating resin/tubing equipment to ensure products are manufactured safely, to specification, and on schedule—directly supporting AmerCable’s ISO 9001 quality standards and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Verify that all materials staged for assigned orders meet router and order specifications prior to production.
Set up resin line and related equipment according to router instructions to ensure correct material application and product configuration.
Operate machinery in compliance with established work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Apply proper tubing or resin materials to cable products to meet design, quality, and performance requirements.
Support the Lead Press Operator to maintain production flow and resolve operational issues as needed.
Monitor product quality throughout the process and take corrective action to prevent defects or rework.
Identify and contribute to improvements in operator performance and machine efficiency.
Complete production orders on time in alignment with the daily and weekly production schedule.
Consistently follow AmerCable safety standards, safe work practices, and all 5S housekeeping requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, understand, and follow routers, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with industrial machinery.
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a non‑climate‑controlled manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by production demands.
Ability to operate a lead strip machine and use a computer keyboard.
