At this time, we are looking for a Process Engineer to join our AmerCable Team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Provide and maintain process documentation and operating instructions with an emphasis on safety.
- Develop a robust quality manual in compliance with API standards.
- Provide process engineering technical support to production team to improve operations, process safety and environmental performance
- Responsible for making Department Managers aware of all current or potential problems. Report to management all findings on jobs that would affect costs, schedules, employees or customers.
- Participate in design reviews as required and requested by Management.
- Develop and track KPIs specific to each production area to control production inefficiencies.
- Prepare reports based on findings and present reports to peers and management.
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive intelligence, new products, market trends and complementary and supporting technologies.
- Support project engineers to accurately estimate resource requirements for new and existing products.
- Adheres to all AmerCable’s Safety Standards and Safe Work Practices
- Follows and abides by AmerCable Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Standards
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field
- Strong Math Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
