At this time, we are looking for an experienced Cabler Operator to join our AmerCable Team.

Responsibilities:

• To twist together insulated conductors and strands, and/or tape conductors and strands to diameter and quality standards set forth by the work instructions/router. 
• To monitor and improve product quality.   
• To assist in operating the machine according to machine work instructions/SOP. 
• Produce product “on time” per current work schedule. 
• Comply with all safety rules at all times. 
• Comply with AmerCable Employee Manual at all times. 
• To run multiple machines within the team area. 
• MAINTAIN ACCEPTABLE HOUSEKEEPING AT ALL TIMES. 

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED. 
• Basic mechanical abilities, ability to understand and complete work instructions.
• Non-climate-controlled workplace
• Walking
• Standing (concrete surfaces)
• Use of hands and arms for manipulating tools, machinery and equipment
• Lifting and pulling (up to 50 lbs)
• Stooping and squatting
