Summary
Responsibilities
Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct incoming inspections and testing of raw materials and purchased goods.
- Perform in-process and final product inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain visual inspection standards and support the development of inspection procedures.
- Ensure measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to quality requirements.
- Review and archive production and quality documentation.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Identify non-conforming materials and products and ensure appropriate containment and disposition.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Submit and support Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and related quality processes.
- Support internal, customer, ISO, and safety management system audits.
- Collect and analyze quality data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and production records.
- Provide quality documentation to internal stakeholders and customers as required.
- Communicate quality issues, corrective actions, and process improvements across departments.
- Support production teams by providing guidance on inspection methods and quality requirements.
Health, Safety & Team Support
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Support manufacturing initiatives, cross-training activities, and other duties as assigned.
- Act as a key quality resource within the manufacturing operation.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a similar environment.
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience using calibration equipment and precision measuring devices.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and data entry.
- Ability to interpret procedures, specifications, and quality documentation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to participate in root cause analysis and quality improvement activities.
