Supply Chain Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for leading and building a new supply chain team. This supply chain team will deliver Capacity Planning, Production Scheduling, Purchasing of Raw material & consumable goods for replenishment, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Order Fulfilment, and Logistics to ensure Service, Quality and lead-time levels meet or exceed business standards.  This role is also responsible to drive Continuous Improvement in OEE metrics performance and supply chain process improvements.

 

DUTIES:
A)    Supply Chain Management

•    Overall responsibility for the customer order fulfilment process flow through the entire internal organization
•    Design, maintain and manage effective information process and workflow across the capacity planning, production scheduling, saw material & consumable replenishment purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, order fulfilment, and logistics to ensure delivery, quality, cost, inventory and lead-time levels meet or exceed business standards.  
•    Define Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to drive efficient processes.
•    Support and drive the S&OP process.
•    Design and maintain production scheduling to manage lead-time and to support Production on OEE optimization (downtime, set-up, small stops…). Design and maintain processes supporting maximized equipment availability and performance to support OEE optimization (downtime, set-up, small stops, slow cycles). 
•    Oversight of ROP, ROQ and SS, LT, MOQ, EOQ, Primary & Secondary Supplier allocations.
•    Oversee the MRP-System (Infor/IFS) to ensure MRPS supports our business process in the most effective and efficient way and advanced ERP functionality is implemented. 
•    Analyse demonstrated versus planned supply chain performance leading to root cause analyses and corrective action implementation
•    Support the S&OP process.


B)    Continuous Improvement Management

•    Champion Infor/IFS continuous improvement processes. Minimize non-value-added work.
•    Ensure robust and systematic statistical analysis techniques and problem-solving methods (A3, 8D, Fishbone, Ishikawa etc.)
•    Continuously improve and maintain Shawcor Mgmt Systems (SMS) tools to support overall operational goals on service, quality, inventory, and lead-time.
•    Produce proper CI-project documentation in line with project management principles.
•    Develop and maintain SMS-Masterplan and manage the execution with (cross-) functional teams.
•    Design and maintain communication and information channels along daily and monthly management processes to motivate employees for CI.

 

C)    Human Resources and Administration

•    Develop and nurture a strong relationship amongst the various groups within the organization.
•    Ensure HSE goals and policies are supported to achieve IIF.
•    Ensure HR policies are applied fairly and consistently.
•    Build and maintain positive employee morale.
•    Drive employee engagement through SMS.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
-    Minimum 6 to 10 years of related experience.
-    Holding Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering - preferred
-    Must be knowledgeable in ERP/MRP systems and best practices (ideally IFS)
-    Strong computer skills, specifically analytical tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Minitab, etc.)
-    Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and methodologies
-    Must be well organized and have strong interpersonal skills
-    Highly developed analytical abilities
-    Strong written and spoken communication skills
-    Excellent interpersonal leadership skills to manage the teams and to cooperate
-    Project Management skills
