Summary
Responsibilities
Material Handling & Inventory Control
- Execute the receipt, storage, movement, and issuing of materials in accordance with established SOPs.
- Deliver materials to production lines to support uninterrupted operations.
- Transfer finished materials from production lines to designated inventory locations.
- Organize, consolidate, and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform daily cycle counts and inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operate industrial equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers to move materials and load trucks.
- Conduct daily inspections and perform basic maintenance checks on assigned equipment.
Systems & Documentation
- Utilize and update the company’s ERP system in alignment with SOP requirements.
- Ensure accurate electronic recordkeeping related to material movement and inventory.
Safety & Workplace Standards
- Work in strict accordance with company safety and health guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to support safe and efficient operations.
Additional Duties
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager to support business needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment focused on shipping and receiving.
- Previous forklift certification required.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills to navigate ERP systems.
- Effective verbal and electronic communication skills.
- Self-motivated, safety-focused, and quality-driven mindset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of regular job duties.
